I couldn't bring up any part of FR from 7:30 AM ET to 1130AM ET, roughly.
It was horrible - I drank lots more coffee than usual as a result.

Anybody know what was going on? Was it hacked or DOS'd? I suspect it was a DNS issue. For those who aren't computer literate, DNS is what translates names into IP addresses, so you don't have to type 209.157.64.201 into your web browser.
Nothing malevolent, happens all the time.

Tomorrow I go back to work to face the new site proxy server. In the past, we had free internet access. Now, web sites that "do not contribute to site productivity" will be blocked. I suspect FR is to be included in that group. So in the future, I will likely post mornings and late nights. I may even have to rediscover reading books in those times when nothing is happening at work.
