Must be an unusually slow news night...
More to your point, I have never heard of Bubba Burgers.
I haven't ever heard of Bubba Burgers, either. Are they two patties put together with something in the middle, like onions?
I like mine with bleu cheese in the center - but generally, don't like those too much because they aren't usually cooked rare - two thinner patties, no depth for a pink middle.
We just had a little onionburger discussion last week on a pizza thread - and another FReeper and I had each mentioned very memorable hamburgers we had in the past. It turned out they were both in the same small town in Oklahoma and were even related to each other by "the cooks."
I happened to find a recipe and instructions for making that burger (well, one similar - nothing can duplicate the exact taste of a special restaurant's grill or griddle - I'm trying not to say "grease," but that's what it is) - so I experimented last week and made a few.
They were interesting and pretty good - but food is almost always better, to me, when someone else makes it and serves it to me, lol!
So, tell us more about Bubba Burgers and where they came from.
Yes, what is this "Bubba Burger" you speak of, mystery poster?
Darn right...Bubba Burgers are fantastic....they come frozen and you cook them frozen on the grill...
Just don't read the calorie count....I think a basic patty is around 700 calories each...
These are preferred wedding fare in certain cities in the midwest.

I've heard they come with an unknown white sauce.
I havn't tried Bubba Burgers but I'm wondering if any FReepers have heard about the hot dogs, steaks, etc. that Rush has personally recommended and which is now an advertising sponsor of his program?
Well, I went to the site and thought I might order some and try them. After seeing the prices I declined. I decided I'd rather keep my house! I'm sure Bill Gates would place an order and enjoy them - do any of you know what I'm talking about?
Bubba-Burgers are great!!!! I fix them all the time on the grill on the boat. They taste great, and the best part is they don't fall apart on the grill.
Recently, our youth group at church had a cookout to raise money, and I believe they grilled BubbaBurgers....they were delicious!
