To all fellow FReeper Sopranos fans: Has The Sopranos officially jumped the shark? I am waiting with baited breath that tonights episode isn't another delve into BrokeBack Mafia-ism. Enought about Vito already. What happened to the groundbreaking series that we all fell in love with? Noone wants to see or hear what Vito has been doing with his cannoli. Any thoughts?
Oh it's not mine either. It's just a tad less painful to watch than Vito rolling around in the grass.
Here's the way I would write it: the Russian ex-Special Forces guy emerges from the Pine Barrens, shoots Paulie, meets Vito and they fall in love, move to Bucks County and sell antiques.
What interests me is that Peter Noone is a Sopranos fan.
How come Christopher gets spared?
I remembered the last scene of Hitchcock's "To Catch a Thief" and rolled over laughing.
missed it
Here's the way I would write it: the Russian ex-Special Forces guy emerges from the Pine Barrens.......
I like how that guy was DROPPED. Another Sopranos loose end
I won't be able to catch tonights episode till tomorrow night, so don't spoil this for me.
Thanks,
L
First off, let me say that I am a HUGE Sopranos fan. I have every season on dvd. That being said, this season has been painful to watch. If I didn't already have five seasons invested in watching it I would not spend anymore of my time watching. Enough already with Vito and his experiences in Gayford, New Hampshire. We all get it, he's gay. Don't need to spend 80 percent of the season reminding me of it.
The only good episodes this season were the first two when Tony was shot, and the reactions of everyone to it in the hospital. The dream episode was actually very interesting and well done too. Since then it has been down hill fast. Absolutely nothing has happened. They better end it with a hell of a bang if they want to salvage what was up until this season the best show on TV.
I'll be watching again tonight though since the Mets are absoultely embarrassing to watch after their complete and total meltdown yesterday.
I am waiting, hoping they all get whacked... every last one of them.
Unless Hitchcock employed it there too (I havent seen it in ages), youre probably thinking of North by Northwest.
Well, well, well. Vito is done. And it's about time Tony started putting his foot down to AJ. All in all, this was a very good episode, and it seems they are going back to the root of the series.
Told ya it would be soon :)
Looks like you were right. Good call!

Tonight was more like it. This is the Sopranos that we all know and love. Things actually happened, the story moved along well, and even the Carmela in Paris side story, although it wasn't vital to the plot, was very interesting. I was really freaked out for a second when I saw the part with Adrianna walking her dog.
By the way. I love Frank Vincent as Phil Leotardo. What a cold blooded bastard he is.
