How do you contact a moderator? Aside from posting useless vanities?

I made a screwup, and need to contact a moderator. A guy signed up with the screen name Dr. Richard Kimball. I posted to him, asking him to pick another name, as there might be confusion as to which of us had posted. He was very nice, and did. After making two posts with his new screen name, his privileges were revoked. I think it was because of signing up with multiple screen names.
I feel badly about it, because he seems like a nice guy, and I think I accidentally got him banned. Anyway, I didn't want to flag abuse, which is the only way I know to catch a mod's ear. I also wanted to publicly apologize to him for messing him up early in his freeping career.
Sorry!

Maybe I should have posted it in "Breaking News".

I found in a 20 second search that there has been at least 5 versions of Paine already.
I think you already post in such a high quality way that is unique to you that you won't have a problem.
That is just my opinion though.

Really hate to think what would've happened to my puppy if the new poster's screen name had been "One-Armed Man."

I think your puppy would be running around with a prosthetic arm in it's mouth, unless it is a runt of course!

He's dead, Jim. I'll be out on the golf course trying to find the real killers.

Omigosh! Did Dr. Kimball ever think of that? That the one-armed man might have gotten fitted with a prosthesis?
Wow. All that wasted time and energy looking for the wrong guy. And my puppy (my *late* puppy) could've solved it, if she'd been in the right place at the right time - and mad.
