I doubt it, more likely he bought into the false belief that she cares about him and not the 7 figure check he is going to get when he gets drafted.

He won't.

There are so many leetches out there that will do this paperwork for him, not to mention whatever MLB team drafts him will guarantee that his paperwork is always fine.

This kid could go on a shooting spree in the middle of yankee stadium, and not get deported and someone would write a check to cover his legal bills.

I'll put it to you this way, this kid barely knows how to do anything other then baseball (which he is very very good at).....its not hard to figure out that there are some folks with financial interests in this kid looking to make sure nothing bad happens to a future meal ticket.

That said, he is dominican, so he doesn't have to anything other then throw a baseball +90 MPH to stay here.

And the college thing is just pure leverage, he has no intention of ever going there, he wouldn't want to anyway. He's being "advised" by various agents, about his future.

Don't be surprised if he winds up with Scott Boras.

The louses of Hispanic descent in MLB do nothing for their own people. Baseball is All American, these men are "survival of the fittest". Shame on all of them. They have been given so much, and give nothing in return. Extremely important here is to remember that most of the Hispanic MLB players come from Central or South America, and they don't give a rat's a@@ about their fellow man. I hope they all rot in the Pete Rose Waiting Room of Hell.

MLB just plain sucks. I wouldn't go to a game even if you put a gun to my head. Barry Bonds is a liar, a cheat and a fraud, but that's OK 'cuz he's a black man. Why don't some honest reporters, or at least sports junkies, go back and find where Bonds said, for the record, that he wanted to break the Babe's record "'cuz he a white man." Seriously, where is that part of the story?
