Jeers, hisses and laughter was not "Canned", and what must have been a real disappointment for Tom Hanks who always looks surprised because of his facelift.

The movie "The DaVinci Code", which is based upon a fictional story about how Jesus and Mary Magdalene were married and had a child, takes two and a half hours to finish, but only thirty minutes to put a number of the audience to sleep, only to be awakened by laughter, where laughter is not appropriate or planned.
According to reports some people walked out during the movie's closing minutes, and when the credits rolled there were catcalls, whistles and hisses.

Great news. People may rent the thing, but they won't pay ten bucks apiece to see a stinker. The Catholic Church should ignore the film and not give it one more inch of publicity.

Ick. I'll use that picture to scare away the wild animals. My AlGore photo is a bit weather-beaten and my JohnKerry photo didn't work too well...the poor creatures all fell into deep comas.

The critics:
'A stodgy, grim thing'...
'Hanks was a zombie'...
'Bloated'...

Variety - often considered a shill for the studios - has hammered the film with a pitiless review. I still think it will open big. But then...?

I haven't seen the movie and probably won't, but I must say one thing: looking at those droopy upper eyelids, I am pretty sure Hanks has NOT had a facelift.

(Yes, I have a devious plot. No, you may not know what it is.)

FYI, was dragged off to see MI3 over the weekend by the GF, a big Tom Cruise fan. Even she thought it was stupid. I half slept through it to the scene where it was revealed that it was all a plot by rogue US agents to give us an excuse to attack some unnamed Middle East country. Same old same old Hollywood BS! If they really wanted to make a movie that would do boffo business, how about a flick that shows our troops in a positive light, telling the story of the magnificent job they have done the last five years, around the globe. Too jingoistic and old fashioned I guess....

I'll see your "Ishtar" and raise you "Battlefield: Earth."

If you're ever having a really bad day, and need a laugh to cheer you up, just read the reviews of that sucker. It scored an astonishing 3% on the rottentomatometer. Sweet Lord that's funny.

I wondered why Hanks had such a weird appearance lately. Didn't realize he had a face lift, but that would explain it. Plus, what's up with his weird looking hair? Did he also get a hair transplant?

No we know why Sony Pictures has been so secretive about this movie, and wouldn't even let the reviewers see it before...THE MOVIE REALLY SUCKS!!
So sorry Ron Howard.

You have to look at the hairline. Can you imagine what he would look like if he didn't have his hairline pulled back almost to behind his ears?

How about this plot from "She Man"
A soldier is forced to take estrogen and wear lingerie when he's blackmailed by a violent transvestite.
