When did Bush arrive in New Orleans
Posted on 05/15/2006 8:41:04 AM PDT by weezel
I posted at another forum that Bush arrived in Nawlins on day 3, as claimed at Political Vanguard. Immediately, the liberal weenies jumped all over that, saying it is untrue. PV doesnt give any other link. Does anyone know, and have proof ?

He arrived right after setting of the explosives which breached the levy. Then he went fishing.

You could use the keyword 'katrina' to search the answer.

He flew by on Air Force One to look at New Orleans two days after the hurricane (which is probably the day 3 you refer to). He visited New Orleans on 9/11/05.
You could have googled for "new orleans" Bush visit to get this info.

Because, to piss off the liberals at another forum, I copied and pasted this from Political Vanguard. They didnt give a link though.
Bush was In New Orleans on Day #3, Clinton never visited the World Trade Center after the 1st bombing in 1993 and took 4 days to get to Oklahoma City

Take note: As I recall, the President didn't first go directly into N.O., as it would have pulled critical Police support from their efforts to be included in protection details.

Arguing with a liberal is like teaching a pig to sing. It won't work and it'll just annoy the pig.
Though in this case since its annoying a liberal we can grant an exception......

Whoa, buddy! Don't go all crazy on us and start using any logic or reasoning or anything.
I mean, you can't just go around willy-nilly spouting off facts and making sense like that!
It's just not fair for you to point out the complete insanity of sending the President of the United States into a widespread disaster zone while every first-responder for hundreds of miles is out saving thousands of lives in the middle of one of the most massive and most successful rescue and recovery operations in the history of this country.
