We just got home from Cary. I've never seen anything like this storm; our side of town didn't seem to get the hail, but it's hard to say.

That is hail that fell within the first 3 minutes; it hailed for 30 minutes NON-STOP and the hail actually got BIGGER.
(Do not ask me about the blue ball; I don't "get" it either, but my mother-in-law loves it.)

I have one just like it. It's called a gazing ball, and looks great in a flower garden.
