May 13, 2006 The second round of DNA test results in the Duke University rape investigation show "no conclusive match'' to any lacrosse players, defense attorneys said, but a vaginal swab of the alleged rape victim produced DNA from a "single male source'' a man not on the lacrosse team who did not attend a March 13 party that was the site of the alleged rape.
Joe Cheshire, a defense attorney for Duke University lacrosse players at the center of a rape investigation, said the latest tests show no conclusive match to any of the lacrosse players' DNA. (ABC News
Defense attorney Joe Chesire declined to identify the mystery man or his connection to the alleged victim, but ABC News' Law and Justice Unit has learned that the unnamed source of the DNA is the alleged victim's "boyfriend," according to her mother.
ABC News is withholding the name of the man because he is apparently not a target of the investigation. Records indicate that Durham, N.C., police gave the "boyfriend'' a cheek swab to collect DNA on May 3, ABC News' Law and Justice Unit has learned exclusively.
It is unclear if or how the first DNA tests missed what appears to be the only foreign genetic material found on the alleged victim's body, defense attorneys said. Two Duke lacrosse players were indicted more than two weeks before the cheek swab was taken from the "boyfriend."
It is also unclear whether the alleged victim had sex with the "boyfriend" the night she claims to have been raped by three Duke lacrosse players. DNA experts tell ABC News that genetic traces of semen can remain in the body up to six days after intercouse.

That's an interesting thought; rocket scientists they're not.
Give one corrupt player on the team, and you have all the answers you need for everything.
Not that such things happen in lacrosse ~ just in football, basketball, etc., et al.
I go back and forth on xoxoxox

Well, it hasn't gotten "good" yet, but it's getting warm. LOL
The players have so many ways to exact revenge:
-Most importantly, try to disbar Nifong.
-vs. City of Durham for false arrest/prosecution
-vs. Duke for suspension, especially in McFayden's case.
-vs. the hookers. Not for money, but to compell desposition.
Remember, Bob Bennett is on board. I would be worried were I Nancy Grace.
We all know pimps are model citizens. What in the world will the race baiters say when it's shown that a black pimp is the one who got rough with the stripper and the lacrosse players are guilty of nothing more than calling an escort service?
If they took any samples of DNA from her cheeks or other areas, why wasn't a match made? Only the vaginal swab DNA match of the "well known" person has been made. I have another question to raise, but others might object here. I'll just leave it at that.
Are you making this stuff up? Totally illogical. Have a little coffee maybe you'll wake up??....
ABC News wants to protect the reputation of the boyfriend but sully the name of an entire lacross team. Typical.
Now, let's see the candlelight marches going to the boyfriend's house....
Totally unsurprising. Had to be a boyfriend, pimp, or client, it was just a question of which, as all were not-unlikely.
And I think those boys will take their revenge and push whatever civil case they can. They're too young to have their names forever bandied about by the race baiters. Besides, one of those race baiters might decide to take matters into their own hands, being too stupid to understand the facts of the case and how they're being played, and those kids could end up getting hurt.
But the group I'd really like to see those players go after is the City and DA.
Disbar Nyfong? The line to do that has already formed.
LOL. No sense trying to talk logic with that one; that flew out the window a loooong time ago.
LOL.
Nifong won the Dim primary but could be challenged in an election this November. As I recall, he says there won't be a trial until (how convenient) January 07.
The race baiters won't care. To them it's a high honor to be a pimp, and a crime to be white.
Pity, isn't it, that tar and feather has gone out of fashion.
Thanks for the info, but I still think he will have to drop this...ever optimistic--that's me!! ;>)
