Dude, read more closely the protestations of Brown the not-so-covert polemicist and world-class BS-er.
LAUER: "How much of this is based on reality in terms of things that actually occurred? I know you did a lot of research for the book."
BROWN: "Absolutely all of it. Obviously, there are-Robert Langdon is fictional, but all of the art, architecture, secret rituals, secret societies, all of that is historical fact."

After 2000 anti-Da Vinci Code articles here, I'm officially in overload.
I'm now going to see the movie twice and will believe it's a documentary.
It's your fault.

OK, we had the "it's a fiction" revelation by post # 2 this time (they're fast!) We are anxiously awaiting the next regular revelation on these threads that solemnly informs us dumbies that the book and movie are popular only because of the protests and negative publicity.

The Closest thing to the truth was when Tom Hanks starred in the film, Forrest Gump. He wasn't acting. "Be natural" the director told Hanks.

You mean it's time to take down the neon "Burn every copy of the Da Vinci Code" sign on my front lawn?

? n?lON movie.
That is the artful and creative mantra of the author Dan Brown. If you have read this book, then you will have noticed that the author claims these heresies to be factual.
Dude, it is a PROPAGANDA film

Too bad Hollywood's Anti- Christ don't have the balls to make a film about Mohammad- A truthful one that is. I'd go see that. The digging of the trench, lopping off the heads of 10,000 men and boys in front of their wives and daughters,Dividing up all their property and other loot amoung his band of 'believers" then raping the women infant girls the same night would be an interesting scene, it would show beyond doubt that Mohammad was a 'prophet".
The Muslims would get mad though. They son't like the truth slipping out.

one-third of those who have read the book believe that it is factualThey obviously didn't read page one where it says the book is fiction.

The "youngest disciple, John was often portrayed in a feminine manner to convey youth,"
Well, whoever is at the right hand of Christ is feminine, very feminine, a feminine woman I'd say.
