People are willing to believe anything but the Bible.
The judgement will truly be a terrible day for many, when
they come face to face with the Truth they have purposely
ignored.

I know some Christians who loved the Da Vinci Code. I haven't read it and won't. It's heresy. Tom Hanks thinks it damn good fun. Well, he's got the "damn" part right.
"The church connections leave the entertainment press mentioning The Da Vinci Code in the same breath as The Passion and The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobeexamples of the money waiting to be made with "religious-themed" movies."
The love of money is the root of all evil.
More still will see the movie, and we know that Americans especially, believe what ever they "see." If they see it on television or in a movie, it must be true.
Many people will tell you that they are Christians but they cannot tell you why. We were told to be ready at any time to give a defense of our faith and many of us are unable to do so.
I just heard Josh McDowell discussing his new book that basically says that if the Church doesn't get at teaching the Bible, this could be the last Christian generation.
I don't really see what this has to do with the Bible at all. Christians have never agreed with the same interpretation of the words in the Bible from day one. Nor even which books to include until it became organized. It is quite apparent to me anyway that Mary Magdalene never got the respect she deserved from the formal church as she seemed to be the most devoted to Christ of anyone mentioned in the Gospels.
Good point.
