Note the pix of A pit bull. And then that it says "it MAY have been a pit bull". With the limited information, it sounds like they're jumping to conclusions and simultaneously pushing a theory on us in this short memo.
Somehow, I doubt it was a pit bull if the man has no evidence of bites! Maybe some dog threatened him and he had cardiac arrest?

Strange story... dog attack but no bite wounds - it does sound like a heart attack or something else. I do note some uncertainty in the article about the dog, but a picture of a dog with the article. Is this the dog? or a stock photo? weird.

Most likely a cerebral bleed, a stroke (from a clot thrown from the atrium), or an MI from fright....
