"consisting largely of white men"

the problem is not the "men" part nor the "white" part....

the problem lies in the fact that they choose the SAME kind of white men....stuffed shirt types who never got their hands dirty once in their elitist upbringing... they may profess to be "Christian" but they are the supeficial type Christians who don't realize that there is right and wrong....

add some good, hard working-class men.....believe me, the attitude would change.....

too often, "diversity" means race. not religion or values or economic status.........

As I've posted more times than I can count, former President Terry Sanford would have had this sorted out in about three days. Among other things he worked two years as an FBI agent.

In fairness to the Duke admin, they had no reasonable expectation or knowledge that the Durham DA would go nationwide with this story. They probably thought they has some time to carefully sort things out. That doesn't mean they ignored it.

I've often wondered why folks think that rich, clean cut, white, Christian men never seem to work hard... In most cases rich, white, Christian men know the alternatives and chose hard work in areas which provide long term rewards over instant gratification...

I for one do not see that as a character flaw in need of diversification.... I see the diversification required in those groups who complain that someone is better off than they and seeks to bring them down to their level....
