If I remember correctly, Microsoft stopped offering Windows 98 updates on their site as of last year.

If I remember correctly, Microsoft stopped offering Windows 98 updates on their site as of last year.Late June, early July of this year.
"Windows Update" now requires IE6. However, patches for Win98/Win98SE may also be downloaded using any browser here:
http://www.microsoft.com/windows98/downloads/corporate.asp
