Would you take part in a gas boycott?
No, I need fuel too much.
No, because it won't do any good.
Yes, because it would make a statement.
Yes, because it could change things.

How far is your commute to work? Bus schedule fits your schedule?

I use as little fuel as I possibly can...not because I can't afford the gas but because I am cheap. :)

I'm boycotting the bus because it makes a statement.

I did the same when I was poor, but not so much any more since being cheap for 30 years has now made me upper middle class :) and I can afford to pay for inflation adjusted gas.

I don't boycott gas but I don't waste it either. I probably do more every day to keep the price down than most people who will boycott it.

Boycotting GOPee and Demoncrap candidates at the polls will do MUCH more than a stupid gas boycott.

Gas prices are the fault of the Democrats who want prices to be high. They banned drilling in most of this country, offshore and in Alaska. The regularly vote to increase taxes on gasoline and their mantra is to hate "Big Oil" and American corporations.
Every year they have gone further to the left and I believe they intend to Nationalize our energy infrastructure and impose Socialism upon America.

I use all the gas I need, but I don't use it to kill weeds and clean paintbrushes anymore. Not as much, anyway. Most of these "boycott" supporters have the same total ignorance of basic economics as bill o'reilley.

I do remember being broke all those years and learned to live frugally...and I find I prefer that now. I even keep cars until they won't go any more and then buy a new one for cash. :)
