I'm missing a Tiger game due to the Redwings and I couldn't care less about hockey. Thats on my FOX sports channel.
If I were you I'd look into FTA and pick up all the visitor away games that local stations broadcast.
Just an idea, and I do get your anger.
Donate it to FreeRepublic and beg forgiveness for this vanity.
The only games I have blocked are the Mariners, and sometimes that's a blessing.
what is FTA?
Hey, they're playing over .500 for once. If it was any other season I'd say who cares about the Tigers. I don't blame you, but this hockey game seems to be a good one so far.
Yes. They are charging you money for access to games via CATV & Direct TV and still feel the need to protect local markets.
Unreal....
Watch 24 instead.
I hate it when that happens. You have my sympathy. Can you at least still access it on the internet? You can watch 24 and still follow the game on your 'puter.
And don't know who you are rooting for, but since this IS a vanity thread, allow me to say: LET'S GO METS!
While I applaud begs for FR, I also think that sports addicts, who are paying for their fix, need to be supplied what they paid for. The blacklout rules are just stoopid.
"watch the Mets play the Nationals?"
and they blacked it out?
they did you a favor! LOL
check out Yankees/Red Sox on ESPN
It almost makes me want to become a lawyer just so I could sue the crap out of them.
Call and demand an immediate credit. You are now free of stupid athletic disease.
Get rid of your cable and get Direct TV--is that an option?
Boy, my Twins sure gave yer boys a run for their money over the weekend, eh?
No, it's blacked out on the internet also!!!
Try satellite.
The best day of my life was when I told Cable to stuff it. My wife and I actually argued over who would get the honor.
I won the coin flip.
You have my sympathies, being a Tiger fan I know how ya feel. 33 runs against the Twins 1 over the series.
I've been seriously considering switching to directtv, and not just because of this stuff.
