Duke Rape Case Defense: Throw Out DA Nifong and Photo ID

Accused Duke lacrosse player Reade Seligmann's attorneys want Durham County District Attorney Mike Nifong thrown off the case.

Today, they filed a legal motion specifically asking for it.

"DA Mike Nifong neglected his duty as a prosecutor to seek the truth and a fair prosecution," the defense's motion reads.

The motions were filed just 24 hours before Nifong's Tuesday election in which he's fighting to keep his seat. Nifong is being challenged by former prosecutor Freda Black and private lawyer Keith Bishop

If the defense lurks here, that idiot Maleek Shabazz, in a radio interview on friday, claimed that he had spoken with Nifong about the case. Of course, he is dillusional anyway.

But if it is true, and Nifong did indeed speak with him, (esp. after refusing to speak with the defense with pictures) I would at least use this to gain a change in venue.

Hubby got very sick last year. He became more and more ill. At around midnight one night he had to go to the emergency room. They discovered 5 brown recluse bites on his head and neck.

If you do get bit, smother the bite with MSM powder. It neutralizes the posion. (You can find the powder at any health food store; it may be in capsule form so you'll have to break open the capsules and mix the powder into a paste.) Keep a poltice of the powder on the wound.

Thank goodness she wasn't bit!Wife has been bitten twice in the last two weeks.Once on the leg,the last one on her stomach.The doctor measured the depth at 2 inches.Nasty is too kind a word.We think we have narrowed it down to her closet,as the entrance to the attic is located there.We cleaned out the closet,went through her clothes,and bombed the daylights out of it.Very glad your girls are okay.I cant imagine a little one being bitten by one of these.I worry as my grandchildren spend a lot of time here.Wife said she never felt a thing when she was bitten.It starts out as a little pimple,only to morph into a big wound.
