I keep reading the 'Privileged' thing used against these Duke players.. I couldn't really remember anything like that in the past. So, I did some searches and the only other time I could see it used regularly was when George W. Bush was running the first time. Seems the media is selective.
The other thing is I couldn't find ANYWHERE, after almost two months, any use of the PROSECUTORIAL MISCONDUCT. Huh, almost 2 months of revelation after revelation making this crime look all but impossible - and the media hasn't raised the Prosecutorial Misconduct flag.
How many shows did Larry King, Geraldo, Dan Rather, etc have where the focus was prosecutorial misconduct on the part of Ken Starr? Every Freakin' Night there were shows focused on Ken Starr's actions and NOT the Clintons.
The MSN bias just makes me so angry. So many lemmings being led by the nose. Wasn't it last week, on NATional TV, Geraldo said on O'Reilly that the players would plead guility by the end of the week. These Rich white guys will run to the Prosecutor and admit guilt when faced with jail time was the sentiment by Geraldo. Bill O'Reilly clapped and asked others to give it to Geraldo. He had really nailed it. No follow up show to admit they were wrong. No follow up comments by either to say they may have pre-judged. No nothing. I wonder how many minds were made up that Night on a Leading prime time show like the O'Reilly Factor.

Gee whiz, was there a solid basis for any of Brodhead's decisions? Force the coach out for an out of control team . . woops, wrong. Suspend the season for the entire team that a dingbat DA said to any camera around was involved in a massive consipracy . . . woops, wrong. Suspend students for indictments from said dingbat DA . . . woops, that turned out to be less than stellar and likely phony. Allow a nice campus protest . . . woops, they turn out to be anti semitic nut jobs with weapons. Turn the campus over to the drive by media so educating takes a back seat to . . . woops, that didn't turn out so good.
Brodhead threw his own students and university under the bus to curry favor with an idiot and vindictive DA. We deserve a President at Duke who will stand by his students when the spit hits the fan.

Isn't is ironic that the would dare claim "privileged" about G.W. Bush when he was running against a guy who grew up in the Watergate Hotel and attended the National Cathederal School in DC? They have no shame.
