ingrate; noun

n : a person who shows no gratitude [syn: thankless wretch, ungrateful person]

Etymology: [From Middle English ingrat, ungrateful, from Old French, from Latin ingrtus : in-, not; see in-1 + grtus, pleasing, thankful; see gwer-2 in Indo-European Roots.]

Rules: Everyone must leave a post using the Word for the Day in a sentence.
The sentence must, in some way, relate to the news of the day.

They talk "unity", but their actions will prove more divisive than they can imagine. And many of them still prattle on with the nonsense that the U.S. "stole" Texas, NM, Arizona, and So. Cal. from Mexico, so "this land is their land"....that sure as hell isn't winning them any friends.

Then there's the pesky little issue of thousands of new voter registrations that were filled out yesterday...

That is really strange-did anyone ever say why they thought the stolen cars were abandoned there?

Not a clue. And almost all of us have dogs, on our street. Why they wouldn't have ditched them at the mall instead is beyond me. Either they're not clever crooks or their thinking was impaired.
