Please patronize American businesses today and spend lots of money. Our economy does NOT depend on poor, uneducated, unskilled illegal immigrants from Mexico no matter what the pundants say. We will prove them wrong once again. This is nothing but open border, leftist pyschobabble BS. Now, go forth and SPEND!

"We're doing our weekly grocery shopping today instead of tomorrow. " Ditto. I'll 'top-off' my hurricane supplies today also. Probably spend $300.00 dollars.

I usually wait a couple of days to phone in credit card receipts from my wife's art shows. This time, I did it so they'd show up as purchases today.
And we had a good day yesterday.

Aside from the cans of beans and a few packages of tortillas missing from the grocery shelves, the rest of the money they would have made today, would have been sent south regardless. I hope the truancy laws are in full force today. ($500 fines for the parents)

Many thanks for starting this- I'll keep a watch on it, and crosslink it here:

On a personal note?
Me & Mrs. B ( daughter of two whole families of legal immigrants ) have postponed all major household purchases for this day, and we will make a point, when shopping today, of mentioning this little factoid.

Anyone keeping a list of business who are aiding and abetting the boycott and protests? For instance I've heard Purdue and Tyson mentioned this morning since both companies have said they're closing some of their plants for the day. And someone from the Goya food company was on this morning stating that they were going to do something similar.
Just so I've got a better idea of whose products I should avoid from now on.

Same here. We've been holding off buying a chest freezer and a roto-tiller (both US made), plus will go grocery shopping, a trip to the lumber company for bags of concrete, fill up truck, lunch, Rx & a doctor visit, dinner out and then a movie. Busy day, but will spend around $2500.00.

I'll be buying US made tires for my pickup today. I know of two tire shops I will not stop at, because they have illegals working in their warehouse.

I intend to invest in a baseball and an apple pie today (among other things).

I have to do laundry today, so about $13.00 will go to the laundromat, which is owned by a nice proud American couple from Korea who went through the process and absolutely hates the idea of marching for illegal immigrants "rights". Not much, but thats what being budget will do for you.

Actually, I'm pretty well tapped til the 15th.
As it turns out, alot of the folks skipping their illegal jobs today to protest law and order, and to make demands on a foreign society, have more disposable income than I do.

Wife informed me the dryer is failing, so we are getting a new washer/dryer pair today, as well as a set of tires for the lincoln, and a new stereo for it, maybe.
If I can do more, I will, but my wife will make up for any deficits, I am assured! She asked me how much money was in the bank account, and was there any limit? I told her there was a dollar and 29 cents, but she won't accept that, for some reason.

This hadn't occured to me prior to seeing this thread. But oddly enough I am home from work this morning to go shopping online in Mexico. Booking a trip to some remote'ish locations in the Yucatan. No one seems to be boycotting me there.
I will go do some shopping locally today too. I just hadn't thought about it all.
