It seems like McNeal regressed under Coach Fran's system. At one time he was regarded by A&M faithful as being on par with Vince Young.

Oops, there goes Simpson at 105. To Bills. Great value for them.I am surprised by Greg Blue as well. In the UGA games that I watched he was really impressive. His tackling skills in thosse games were amazing - if he got a hand on a player then he went down immediately.
Apparently he did do to well in the combine or senior bowl. If he doesn't have character issues then he could be a steal for someone.

Apparently he did do to well in the combine or senior bowl. Oops, should have read "didn't do too well".

34 (131) Pittsburgh Steelers (Compensatory Selection) - Willie Colon, OT, Hofstra
35 (132) Baltimore Ravens (Compensatory Selection) - P.J. Daniels, RB, Georgia Tech
36 (133) Pittsburgh Steelers (Compensatory Selection) - Orien Harris, DT, Miami (FL)
Willie Colon? Huh? Guess they saw something nobody else saw, but everybody else had him as a FA type.
P.J. Daniels here is a steal for Balt. They're doing well in this draft.
Harris is good, but how does he fit into the Steeler's 3-4? I don't get it.
But who am I to second guess Cowher and Colbert?

He really needs to go to NFL Europe and play a couple of more years. If he really wants to get some experience he should sign in the arena league, a much faster game. He'll learn to make fast reads and decisions. I don't see guys getting better playing against other players who aren't NFL caliber in a slower game.
I still think someone (the Raiders) will take a chance on him late, Clarett and Phillips were better collegians, but they don't have Ron Mexico as a big brother either. The draft is all about what might be.

Hey Cowboys fans and haters, they traded up for somebody. Possibly Johnathon Scott,OT fr Texas?

The Cowboys were on the right track, T.O. although enticing as a receiver, leaves much to be desired and in the end I believe he will set the Cowboys back a few steps as a disrupter in the club house, on the talk shows, and on the sidelines. It is only a matter of time before he goes head to head with Parcells and gets sent to the bench.
The Steve McNair to Baltimore clock is ticking, rumors are he will be released by the Titans within 48 hours. Kyle Boller may be through as a starter in Baltimore if this happens and most say it will.

But who am I to second guess Cowher and Colbert? "Who am I?" too then, because I've got serious questions about this draft, yesterday and today.

I am surprised by Greg Blue as well. He's kind of a tweener: not quite fast and quick enough for safety, not quite big enough for OLB (which has been talked about).

It is only a matter of time before he goes head to head with Parcells and gets sent to the bench.I don't see that happening this year though. I'm sure that his contract is very strict on this matter.

I thought the Ravens would suffer in the draft when Phil Savage left for Cleveland, it has been a pleasant surprise that their draft quality has not dropped off. My hat is off for Ozzie and crew.

T.O. was good for a year in Philly too, and then.....well, you know.

I'm just hoping for a one or two years production here fr TO. Nothing will shock me in regards to his behavior, however. If he hints at causing problems, he will be dismissed.

Hey Cowboys fans and haters... I'm neither, just a football fan. I used to hate the Cowboys, as all good Steeler fans of "the Super Steeler" era must, but lately I find myself more a fan of the Cowboys than I used to be.
Looks like they got the safety they needed.

Oh, I love Holmes. Anthony Smith will look real good next to Troy. Reid will be a good return guy.
But after that, well, I just don't know...

T.O. was good for a year in Philly too, and then.....well, you know. Agreed but I don't think the contract language was a strict as what Dallas surely put into their contract with Owens.
I also feel that the Cowboys are in a "win now" type mode. Parcells is always just a few games away from announcing his retirement.
To: JeffAtlanta
I'm sure that his contract is very strict on this matter. I know for a fact that it is. I haven't seen the actual contract, but I've heard from a source at the very highest levels of the Cowboy organization that T.O. can be terminated if he so much as spits on a public sidewalk.
