Graphics are the most data intensive part of a web page. Web accelerators work by intercepting the pages you surf to and reducing the resolution of the graphic images. If you click on the images, the full resolution should return.
Read a little about Localnet's acceleration program. Clicking the images only works in Internet Explorer...in Mozilla, you have to do this:
"The right-click options are not available in these browsers. Please follow these steps:
1. Click once on the small red and blue triangle-like icon located near your system clock.
2. Select Disable Express 2.0
3. Hold down the Ctrl key and click on the refresh icon on the browser toolbar.
4. The compressed graphic image will be replaced with an original quality version."
I don't know, but it sounds like this is the procedure to shut down the accelerator. If so, it's unfortunate that they can't make their service work properly with Firefox...
