To: Locomotive Breath
Ideas, to get into people's minds, and not be lost in the maze of objections, preconceptions and misconceptions that afflict all our limited human minds, have to have a "bite". Marketing people know that -- not sales people, marketeers. Sales people, use other interpersonal techniques -- they rely on marketeers to have already established in the public's mind the ideations and concepts of the thing sold.

Ideas, primal ideas, are not "logical". Logic -- such as the logic of naked snake in the Garden of Eden -- can work to obscure or pervert the idea, the ideals.

Yes at times I'd expect that my replies may seem disjoint, strange or confusing to the average reader. They are not, but in order to shoot my quiver of ideas into your mind, I apply that "supercharging" edge to them.

Now I am not trying to harm you at all -- I'm just using a analogy. I'm hoping you'll (1) learn to catch, barehanded, the arrows as they fly with shao-lin-like speed, and (2) learn to shoot back with the ideas G-d has blessed you with, with ideas that have an "edge" and are in motion.

Marketing people are b*llsh*t artists, or, shall we say, snake oil salesmen. I want steak not sizzle which is ephemeral and of no value. If engineers did their jobs in that manner, bridges would fall down, houses would burn up and planes would crash. Spend thirty years getting slapped around by the laws of nature and your tolerance for obscurity and foolishness no longer exists. Trying living outside the land of smoke and mirrors. You might like it.
