I finished stitching an elf on perforated paper. I just need to put the pattern on graph paper.

I am now back stitching on the Norman Rockwell Santa. I'm about 1/3 of the way through.

I'll be in Ogden this weekend, so a trip to Shepherd's Bush and the Needlepoint Joint are in order. Also dinner at Maddox's. Yum.

I took a look at the Shepherd's Bush retreat, held in Park City at the end of this September. I'm really trying to decide if $500 for 3 classes and $350 for housing is worth it...I'm leaning against it. I can go to Shepherd's Bush any time and that money could be spent on a lot more than 3 projects.

Have been doing more cleaning/organizing and gardening than stitching. But I did buy and assembled some beautiful shelving for *most* of my fabric and a *little* of my yarn. When I was cleaning my closets, I motivated myself by pretending that the people from Mission: Organization on HGTV were there, urging me on over my shoulder. Is that strange or what?

The woman who wrote the "yarn harlot" books has an acronym that really fits me: SABLE (Stash Acquisition Beyond Life Expectancy). I think Hobby Lobby emits some gas in the yarn section that burns the wiring in my brain, causing me to buy WAY more yarn than I will ever use. ;)
