To: Knitting A Conundrum

I finished stitching an elf on perforated paper. I just need to put the pattern on graph paper.

I am now back stitching on the Norman Rockwell Santa. I'm about 1/3 of the way through.

I'll be in Ogden this weekend, so a trip to Shepherd's Bush and the Needlepoint Joint are in order. Also dinner at Maddox's. Yum.

I took a look at the Shepherd's Bush retreat, held in Park City at the end of this September. I'm really trying to decide if $500 for 3 classes and $350 for housing is worth it...I'm leaning against it. I can go to Shepherd's Bush any time and that money could be spent on a lot more than 3 projects.

Boy, I agree with you on that...I could buy a new spinning wheel for the cost of housing alone...

$850 is a LOT of yarn, fabric, or other crafty materials and supplies. Call me cheap, but that's where I'd put that kind of money.
