Well, today, my hubby tells me to buy a new dressform. I am too small for my old form, and hope to keep it that way. Yesterday, he told me to buy a stand for my 32 inch Ashford rigid heddle loom which I bought used not long after 9-11, and still haven't warped.

I have to admit, he is a sweetie pie when it comes to these things...and I saved $90 to boot buy catching a sale.

Beyond that, I have knitted 2/3s of a baby blanket since we last talked, and started making some curtains, but not much else.

But Spring is here, the winter arthritis isn't an issue, so maybe I'll get something accomplished.

The sprouts for the garden are finally in the garden where they belong and out of my sewing room. Hurray! But this also means I'll be spending more time in the garden than in my sewing room. :)

I have a counted cross stitch sampler in the works; it is a collection of Civil War-era quilt squares. The actual quilt is on display in a Vermont museum, I believe. The floss colors used in the sampler are very close to the colors used in a lot of the Civil War-era quilting fabrics (prints) that are available now at places like Keepsake Quilting (lovvvvvvvvvvvvvve their catalog!).
