Why are you guys so upset about a little message from the president?
We're lucky we have fair warning about this 20 minute delay.
What I hate is NBC and ABC who like to shift television shows by 1 minute either way to make you miss the beginning of competing shows.
For example, NBC makes Deal or No Deal run from 7:00PM to 8:01PM CT. If I'm not careful about how I setup the Tivo, I miss the beginning of 24 at 8:00PM CT.

That's more a problem with TiVO than the networks.
The problem with TiVO is you can only record what you are presently watching.
With DVR you can record one program and watch another so the two never conflict.
