Yes, I heard that clearly, but he said something else to him that wasn't exactly true. I don't have TIVO or anything, but I distinctly remember thinking, "Well that is a little bit of shading the truth." I imagine that he doesn't want Martha killed, she is his wife, after all, and Mr. Cabal Leader was intimating that she needed to be permanently silenced. He's one cold dude.

Darn! I wish I could remember what it was that made me go "hmmm". Oh well.

Tonight Logan said he was "reassigned back to D.C."

I don't think he is dead, nothing said tonight convinced me of that and I doubt TPTB would kill him off camera.

At Tony Snow's first news conference as press sec., he introduces Jack Bauer to the assembled media. It takes no more than a second before Jack spots David Gregory and Helen Thomas in the crowd.
JB" O.K. Gregory ask one stupid question. I dare you." DG "What do you mean???" Jack pulls out the weapon and takes David's knee out. He then glares at Helen Thomas and exclaims "Go ahead Helen, make my day!!!"

The entire operation started 18 months ago which means Season 4 is DIRECTLY tied to Season 5.

A year and half but remember he wasn't working in the oil fields the whole time. He was living as a bum in Chicago before Chloe came and warned him to leave because someone had most likely found out he was alive.

I think the aircraft is a U.S. government plane that is taking foreign diplomats out of L.A. We obviously didn't see all of the nationalities boarding but we did see the French and British ones for sure.
