LOL. And don't you just KNOW that some people think exactly that about Northerners.

But if that house had been searched, don't you think we would have some indication by now?

Well, I'm glad to hear that Nifong has such a high unfavorable rating and hope to heck he loses and loses big.

The three team captains who lived in the house cooperated with police when it was searched March 16. Subsequent search warrants were sealed at the Police Department's request.Protest
This is an early article concerning the case so the reporter might have been confused whether a single "warrant" or "warrants" were sealed.

I don't know if athletes get special treatment or not, but Duke students are required to live on campus through their junior year. That being said, there are some who pay the dorm fees, but don't live there. If the Urban street house is a university owened house, I don't think the occupants are underclassmen.

LB, you need to read that Newsweek piece that dukie07 put up. I don't know how active an alum you are, but somebody's got to put a stop to Brodhead before he wrecks the whole damn university. They must be feeling pressure, though..
"When the AP asked to speak Alleva for this story, Duke officials referred questions to other members of the athletic department."

I thought it was a garter belt....but it kind of looks like a purse...crochet? Or she has white fringe hanging off the top...to match her lovely shoes.
Nothing about hose in any search warrant...unless they are considered clothing.

So.. NiFong is hinting they found a date rape drug in accusers system.
Interesting. I would bet this is why NiFong will not back down, he has the SANE report along with the toxicology report.
Someone needs to tell him 'date rape' drugs can be used in recreational manner and Miss Crystal could have taken drugs on her own.

If he had a tox report that helped his case, he'd have leaked it long ago. He's getting killed in the PR part of the case, which, IMO is more important than the legal part...

Read it. I've already e-mailed Brodhead three times and I've been encouraging other alums to do so. Unfortunately, I'm not a big bucks donor so I'm not sure how much weight my remarks carry.
