Good morning.

I got the lawn mowed today and the bathroom sink unstopped!

Steve's in bed. He's catching the BOB at 5:45am for Stillwater. I am feeling really bleak. He can't even get ahold of one of his committee members, has been trying since last Friday to no avail. He *is* meeting with the other Stillwater-based committee member, but the guy said he might have some more changes.

~sigh~

And we've heard nothing from Steve's advisor here in Tulsa.

It will be a miracle if he actually graduates this semester. I'm beginning to think he'll be done with the paper in time to walk the commencement free and clear, but too late to officially graduate this semester. That's ok, but it sure would be nice for him to graduate this semester because then we can go on with our lives...maybe he'd get that new job and we'd get our bit of land...

Well, oh well...it's waited this long. A few more weeks won't kill us.

:-)

Just frustrating.

(((2J)))

It'll be over soon. You're >this< much closer to it now than you've ever been. ;-)

Tell Steve we're all praying for him. It's gonna happen. I know y'all want it to happen this semester, but if it doesn't, then he can just take the knowledge that he's finished, get that great job and you can get your bit of land, regardless of when he stands or walks or whatever the graduates do.

SirKit didn't even take part in his PhD graduation ceremony; he had no desire to spend any more time at the school. We were on the road to Indiana and his first job, when they called his name out, but we knew he had done it.
