The scenes with Phoenix using her power just didn't quite work for me - for similar reasons that I don't like the wizards' duel in Fellowship, I think. Otherwise it was really good. I think Hugh Jackman is a very good actor, and obviously Stewart and McKellan are, and since they had the biggest roles it was a lot of fun.

So, spoilers.... Does it look like the anti-mutant vaccine stuff wears off? I wasn't sure where they were going with Magneto still having some faint power, but that would make sense. And since we stayed through the credits.... Xavier coming back would be awesome.

He is adorable beyond words in Kate and Leopold.

Ohh, the Dark Phoenix power effects worked for me... if anything, I found them a little understated. Dark Phoenix was a lot more wild in the comic book than her portrayal in the movie. Anyway, spoiler-font: Yes, I think the "cure" vaccine was wearing off at the end... I'm guessing it would require regular innoculations to keep it working, since it was in effect a "gene therapy" type of thing, using Leech's DNA to cancel out the mutant genes in the subject vaccinated.

Also, Xavier's little trick didn't surprise me at all, since he's done that or similar things several times in the comics. I also wouldn't be surprised to find out that Cyclops is still alive, since we didn't see a body.
End spoiler!
