They told me I couldn't renew a contract until the first one ended. I have no idea why it's different for me, but apparently it is.
Bad news: the folks at the Verizon store told me I had to go to a Circuit City.
Bad news: the folks at Circuit City told me to go to the mall, where there's a full tech support department.
Bad news: the guy at the store said this phone shouldn't be much different than the other.
Good news: they're told me they'd exchange it anyhow.
Other good news: they credited me the odd thirty dollar charge I was ticked off about.
Bad news: I brought the box and all the stuff that came with the phone...except the charger.
Other bad news: I got miserably lost on the way home, and now I'm afraid if I don't get back tonight, I won't be dealing with the same folks and they won't let me do what I wanted to do, which is swap it for a different phone, which the tech guy recommended as getting better reception in areas without much digital coverage.
Well, howbouthat. We're down to two (2) hours. WOW.
Doesn't sound right. We've done it twice since we got our very first cell phones about 4 years ago.
