To: Overtaxed
One of the unidentified plants by the house finally bloomed! It looked enough like a "real" plant that I didn't weed it out early this spring.

It's bachelor's buttons! Like this:

Pretty, they are. I have a different variety in the shade garden in the back - smaller ones with just round flowers - not the spokey ones.

I finally have iris in bloom this season. Moved 'em when I did the stream bed. Got yellow and purple. Just a few, but at least they bloomed.

Hey - those are rather cool! Are these in the front or in the back?

We went to Home Depot on the way home and I bought some little shady mossy things to put under the big tree in the yard, and a couple seedling corn to put in a container.

Where'd you go?
