Oh, poor Puffy... what a way to go. I hope the dog's owners get what-for.
Oh... no! Dang 2J... that's lousy.
Oh no. :-(
*snort*
I'm gonna find some way to use that today at work.
I was running around outside my side fence, robe flapping, carrying a half-dead chicken and a large butcher knife...
As awful as the situation is, I can't help but worry that my neighbors might think I've lost my marbles.
Hugs to you and the boys. Those poor birds.
dang 2J... that really bites... we know how yuh feel...
if'n that dog gets back to its owner, count on a return visit...
I'd think that under those circumstances, your appearance and behavior were perfectly understandable.
I'll be better prepared.
that's not necessarily a bad thing...
Heh...yeah, but you know the circumstances...several people drove by and had no idea what had happened! It probably looked pretty strange!
Well, I got my coffee drank...better go take care of things.
That's OK... what use have you for marbles anyway?
:-)
Hang in there...
Oh 2J... I'm so sorry.
I wouldn't worry about that.
~sigh~
Are the boys up yet?
Yep. Matthew was who alerted me to the noise first.
We just went out there, the boys were standing with Jar Jar. Joshua (who's tenderhearted like Steve) was very upset and just at that time the animal control guy came and took some pictures of the scene.
I just checked Benny over real well. She has a CHUNK taken out of her back...no skin, just muscle and bone. About the size of a silver dollar.
Oh gosh...I don't know what to do!
Oh, dear... maybe you can bandage up Benny and give her a chance? It seems too awful to lose all of them at once.
Oh dear... I hope it's not too bad but it sounds like it is. I've never had a lot of luck nursing anything (birds, rabbits) that've been attacked by one of the cats. The injury and the trauma is just too much.
