Cute...but probably a monster. ;-)
I'm not sure I'll go the little-dog route again.
For one, it's awfully nice to have a dog that almost doesn't bark...instead of the polar opposite.
Ok, must bookmark as "not the sort of dog I am getting".
Thank goodness at least one other person in the Hobbit Hole can see the cuteness of a smushed-face.
Ramius was telling me last night that these type of dogs look like they chase parked cars. :-)
Bookmarked as "possible wedding gift".
*grin*
I don't like little dogs... just personal preference. And I prefer handsome dogs to cute ones, though I can see how those are cute.
Believe it or not, I'm not a fan of little dogs either.
Pekes are an exception only because I've had them before and they're just terrific - well, some of them.
It's all in fun anyway. Ramius would be mortified if I had one of those in our home.
All dogs have appeal once you know one. :~D
'zat ees nut a dog....
:-)
I'd love to have another Basset Hound one day. They're wonderful. And I don't think they qualify as a "little dog".
Jes eet ees.
But I just happened to "find" one, you'd let me keep it, right?
*smiles innocently*
Nope, it's a red x...
Bassetts are cute because they look like cartoons. None of the proportions are right.
Doxies I don't have a good experience with :~0 Yet...
But Scotties... I like. They aren't a good dog, they're a riot.
Sure...
I could take him fishing... dogs love to go fishing.
My brother had a dog that was ~mostly~ Scottie. The dog was a lunatic.
Lovable. But crazy.
I've known a couple of mini schnauzers. Major personality...though the two were very different.
Dachshunds are entertaining but insane. At least, that's how the five or so I've known now have been. I dunno that I'd want to have 'em again.
Personally, though, I'd say Lab/Border Collie mixes are just about perfect. Not that I'm biased or anything.
Dalbradors are awfully nifty too. ;-)
Bob and Kay's was nuts too... Chased the horses... got stomped... got stitched up... chased the horses... got stomped... got bandaged up.
They gave it to a co-worker of Kay's just to keep the vet bills down, I think :~D
I just love retrievers. I think I want something that's at least mostly retriever.
Just not a retriever/chihuahua mix.
