New verse:
|
Upon the hearth the fire is red, |
|
|
Still round the corner there may wait |
|
Home is behind, the world ahead, |

I think you're right, Corin. I do think you're right.
Sigh... four days until my next visit...
Everyone gather round!
Cartman rubs the comb, rather than the comb rubbing him... (also pictured... Part of the pile of hair I pulled off Gidget)
Speaking of Gidget :~)
As much as critters seem to shed, it's a wonder they aren't bald..ours are the same way. I've said we could stuff pillows easily with the doggie and kitty fur we've combed out over the years. Heck, one season sometimes.
I've been meaning to do the same for Cisco, and you reminded me. He's all brushed out!
Not as impressive a pile o' hair as Gidgets, but there's a bunch. The breeze got most of it.
The wind is being a little scary, but it sure feels good. means I no longer have an excuse not to mow, though.
She's barking at me. She gave me her kong and wants me to throowwwww it!
Yeah - the wind is great. Your place rocks and rolls in the wind quite a bit, doesn't it? :~D
She is kindof scary looking when she's on a rant like that :~D
Thunder....
Lightning..
Lunatic...
*sigh*
You know, it never ever ever fails that the lawnmower runs out of gas right as I'm almost done. Always. And I hate dealing with the gas...
OK, off to mow the last little bit. And as I keep saying, one of these days I should weedwhack.
I'm getting better!
Oh - you mean the dog :~)
Weedwacker's over here, you can come'n getit.
No gas :~)
Actually, we had just made it in from our walk and it started sprinkling. I thought the rumbling we heard were just far-off big firecrackers and that was making Gypsy nervous. Evidently, not!! LSA
We had a "very" brief downpour...is that it?
Well, the current storm didn't even get the deck totally wet but it's still thundering enough that Gypsy has taken refuge under the computer desk...
Miss Cat is curled up in my computer case. She doesn't jump at storm unless there's a strike close by.
