Ha! Love it. Claiming it as my tagline for a while.
Them Lunch Toters
How about them Lunch Toters, Ain't they a bunch?
Goin off to work, a totin' they lunch.
Totin' them vittles, Totin' that chow,
Eatin' it later, totin' it now!
Look at them Lunch Toters, Ain't they funny?
Some use a paper sack, Some use a gunny.
Them food frugal Lunch Toters, Ain't they wise?
Totin' they lunch, made by they wives.
How to be a Lunch Toter? If I may emote it;
Gitchy wife to fix it, go to work and tote it!
Just one? That is why I have a Mind Control Ray.
If we ever have a kid who scores at the average level, he is going to academic boot camp for the rest of his life. It's sad how bad the scores are.
Sounds like a good plan to me.
Well... unless he has a really good excuse...
No excuses! Not even ninjas can use excuses on their mothers!
But you'll hurt their self-esteem!

Geeze - a couple in a station wagon... she said they are friends of the people we gave that camper too (the 'gypsies' that lived out in front of Rosie's place) well, they've been broke down out in front in the store parking lot, and they asked if they could roll the car into the area between the store and our fence because... you see, they live in the car and they aren't going to get it running till at least tomorrow when a friend can come and help.
Yeesh. I actually said no, they can't pull into that space, because our water line is there, and not very deep, and cars that have driven there before have broken it. That's true... And I don't want them blocking our access to the horse trailer.
I told them they should push it off into the scotch broom on the side if they want a little privacy tonight. In the mean-time... we've now got these rather broke folk out front with nowhere to be. I told them I was glad to know they were going to be there, or I'd have been suspicious of them hanging around all night out there, and that I'd keep an eye out for anyone hassling them. Now... we just need to keep an eye on them... I've been in charity work a long time, and I'm pretty good at assessing people. They seem OK, but desperation makes people a little unpredictable. Keep an eye out.

If'n you hear a banjo...run...
Evening ALL - guess I had one of them shpadoinkle days. Field work, wetlands delineations and stream surveys. Beautiful blue sky, mild temperatures, low humidity, haven't found any ticks (yet), no phone, no meetings, no emails, yep, shpadoinkle it was.. I used my digital camera for the first time, (we use the company camera for the record photos). I took some sample photos, now comes the mysterious , I've put the camera next to the computer..so how long do I have to wait for the pictures in the camera to migrate or osmose to the computer? :-)
Guess we don't need to remind you..'Lock and Load'.
Well I am here and got my packet. Now I am sitting my the lake and doing so searches for sporting goods stores that might still be open. That or a Walmart. All I really need is some sun screen I guess.
I got invitation stuff. Only I got one box that was white instead of off-white, grr, how stupid, but three stores and an hour of staring at this crap makes my head hurt.
Give me half an hour or so for dinner and then call when you feel like it ;-)
And what story is this, precious ...?
