Thursdays, huh?
Good. Gives us plenty of time to fill a few trash bags with aluminum cans and paper.
We're gonna use transparent trash bags, right? ;-)
You'll get fined...
Yeah, I told him that. He doesn't care.
It's the principle of the thing.
I was disappointed yesterday when I thought that al-Zarqawi died instantaneously. Now we learn he survived at least a few minutes. Just enough time to see the Americans standing over him (and mocking him, I hope).
I hope his eternity in hell includes constant reminders that he screwed his own pooch, and has nobody else to blame. And that the crusaders rained down justice from the sky onto his sorry ass just when he felt the most safe and invincible.
Woohooo!
Hey, I'm impressed with these Kentucky Wonder beans you suggested...they popped through the earth yesterday and are already 2-3" tall, no kidding!
Gophers have done more damage than Fiver. They take the whole dang plant! Took my entire fennel this afternoon. Gone like it never existed.
It would be nice to think that the last thing Zarky-baby saw before the blackness overtook him... was some fine soldiers of the U.S. walking up to him. Part of me wishes that some " " operator got to deliver the final high-velocity lead poisoning up close and in person.
However it went down... doesn't matter. He's dead Jim.
Apparently I missed a rather foul troll today? Hm.
Yay, it's the weekend!
Oh...saw a kinda cool bumper sticker on the way home today - said "Home of the free, because of the brave". I rather like that.
There is an abandoned mango orchard near me, with some downed trees from past hurricanes. Chest high grass, vines growing over everything, even lots of mangos! Soon to be a homesite, unfortunately.
Evening everyone.
Weekend, yay! It was a good week at work, I'm making progress. Still plenty to do in the next eleven weeks though... got to get my resume in order and start looking at Cedar Rapids though.
You still up over there? Was wondering what's up over there because Cisco's still outside.
I'm up. He was all gung-ho to be out and restless and wouldn't come in earlier...but finally asked to be in. We're goin' to bed now. Past our bedtime. ;-)
OK - just wondering if you were OK! Was about to head over there to check on you 'cuz we hadn't heard a peep from over there for awhile, and it was weird for him to be out. We've been quiet ourselves, watching LOST all evening :~)
FRMail us your new number... we've lost it!
mmmmmm....strawberries...
Jr's up and gettin' ready to go to work. That's just beautiful. ~snif~
I'm gonna have some coffee and then get started workin' on Luke's swingset. May go to thepool later today.
I ain't committin' to much else.
Morning ALL: back from the dogpark, bout a halfdozen dogs there at various times. Gypsygirl is out inspecting her domain for trespassing miscreant varmints.
Interestingly enough, CZ day at the bullethole, factory reps, sample weaponry, and free shooting...snif, that is just beeeuteeeful.
Tropical Depression 1 Forms in Carribbean
I'm thinking of dragging my sister, who loves to sleep in and has been working the 4 to midnight shift all week, out of bed to go flower shopping. Or would that be too mean?
*Sigh* caught a varmint in the act of digging up my potted okra.
I need a pellet gun.
An excellent idea..with or without a red-dot scope?
Dunno....do you think the red dot would freak out the varmints?
