Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Until the stars are all alight
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
|
|
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
|
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

I'm hoping that it's just the power source that got fried.
If it doesn't work with a new power source, then I guess I need a new motherboard and maybe processor. I can't decide whether to find a board to work with my processor or just replace both. The 'puter is between 4 and 5 years old but worked well enough for me. :)

"I'm sorry, I know it was an accident" followed by...
"Don't worry about it. It was only 150. I will pay for it somehow."
The thing is, if you really mean it, it will be like heaping burning coals upon their heads and your light shines bright...if you really mean it.
Just my 2 cents...

Speaking of liars...any chance of President Logan meeting an untimely demise soon?

Newspaper teaser says,
"Agent Bauer's interrogation tactics lead to new evidence but have devastating consequences. " If he catches Henderson, we already know he can't break him. Who does he have left to interrogate?

I already did that part...I'm just havin' trouble with the *meaning it* about the "Oh, I'll pay" part.
And the fact that I didn't have money to spare.
But at this point, I've already said "I'm not going to ask you to pay," so further discussion is really pointless. Right or wrong, I've said I'd do it, and it's not fair to my brother to keep waffling. If he later decides to send me a portion of the cost, so be it. If not...well, I'll be OK in the long run. It's just a frustration and it's not going to make or break my life.
To: RosieCotton
Heh...you can just lay a guilt trip on him.
"Don't call me because I don't have a phone now."

Okay, so over on the live thread COEXERJ145 says that President Keeler is definitely dead. It was never shown because the Fox producers and writers wouldn't go for showing a President being killed on TV. He (COEXERJ145) speculates that may be different for Logan because he's evil, but he doesn't know.
He also posts a link to a USAToday article about the actress that plays Chloe...possible spoilers follow...
From the article...
All 24 characters risk death, but Chloe is safer than most, especially after Edgar's loss. "We had no idea the reaction to Edgar's death would be as big as it was," Surnow says. He says Chloe will be back next year.
As the fifth season nears its finale, Chloe will get more of the spotlight as personal matters collide with professional duties. "We've got a big character story shocker for her," Surnow says.
So, there's that.

Hopefully with Aaron standing by and pretending nothing's happening. ;-)
Also has to "interrogate" Miles.
Ohpleaseohpleaseohplease!

Maybe Jack can try this technique with Logan...
And inquiring minds want to know... what happened to Aaron? Is Curtis off taking a nap somewhere? Why haven't they made a copy of the recording and uploaded it to Chloe's socket?

Curtis is out there somewhere, but probably left when HS took over CTU. Surely he'll show up somewhere.
Aaron is either taking a dirt nap OR he left his cell phone there for Martha to find.
And I think you're right. Henderson doesn't have the only copy of the recording. Jack let it go too easily. He knows Audrey ain't worth it.

Not to make you worry about anything else... but I think Cisco is having a case of the "poor me's" today. I think all that excitement in life the last few days, rather than wearing him out, has made his life seem rather lonely today. He's over on the porch just barking. Not at anything, just wants attention. He needs to readjust back to normal life I think. I hollered over to him, and he stops for a moment, but starts up again.
I'm going to wait until he quiets down for a moment, then take Homer and Gidget over there to play with him a bit.
To: Corin Stormhands
If they kill Aaron, I'm going to be very, very irritated.
