I really WAS planning to say that. Go get 4 of something that looks nice but is really disposable and breaks nicely. Put one out and laugh it off when it gets smashed. Swap for a fresh one between visits.

My story is going to be set at the Scout camp/High Adventure Base I worked at durring summers throughout college. ... I'm excited about the possibilities here.

Perversely, I'm itching to write on the novel/la I'm trying to save for NaNo.

Instead, I'm turning my attention back to my NaNo 2005 novel, Speak To My Soul. I plan to finish it up by Labor Day. I'm hoping that will sate the writing itch until November.

I still have my NaNo novel from 2005...but I kinda don't know where to go with it. It's just silliness anyhow.

Also I miss my Alphasmart. Can't remember if I mentioned that thing here much... *snif* I sold it to help with the move. Having something that small to type on was nice...and it's part of why I'm jonesing for a new system, which I suppose I don't really need.

But I do love gadgets...
