New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, |
|
|
Still round the corner there may wait |
|
Home is behind, the world ahead, |
Especially if you include some heavy breathing and bodice ripping :~D
I think I've read that one. LOL!
Always good for about 10K in the word count.... heh
26 and a half hours here. Not that anyone is counting.
*smiling*
I'm green with envy, just so you know. ;-)
Ramius and I had to bump up our flight by a day. Seems that because of the Fourth of July weekend, the flight we planned on taking was already booked!
Sheesh. :-/
How inconsiderate of everyone else! ;-)
Dang...that big one is BIG.
It's slightly drier over here just 'cause of the lack of trees...but I still mowed a lot of mushrooms when I got to mow the front lawn the other day.
No mowing tonight, that's for sure.
Wimp ;~)
~snicker~
I've always bought my tickets a month or so in advance, thinking that was plenty of time. Now I know better!
Heh...I'm thinking if I mowed right now, it'd churn mud rather than cutting anything. It'd make a lovely mess.
Isn't it wonderful?
Flipping my calendar to June this morning was a ~major~ highlight of my day. *grin*
Conditions: You are between 3 and 12 years old. A close friend of the family or a near relative has had you to visit from time to time. You know the toys seen in this picture, but you haven't seen most of the books.
Does this presentation make you want to explore, handle, read, and play, or does it make you stand back and "look, but don't touch!"
And if the latter, what would you change?
Put the books down on the lower shelf. The kitten on the lower shelf would likely distract them away from the books. Let the kitty 'guard' the books by being above them.
And down lower, the books are reachable for a little one.
I agree with Suzi.
Books should go lower if they're meant to be handled.
I don't think there's a display anywhere that intrinsically says that to a kid. That's why grownups have to say it :~)
I am constantly torn between wanting time to pass faster and not. So many things to do that need time to do. Like that triathlon in just over two weeks that I am not at all ready for :P
But the 'faster' side usually wins. 58% of total wait elapsed so far. *does the 'over halfway' dance*
Colors! Needs more color.
Needs breakable things.
If you really want them to go for it, fill it with breakable things and put a full glass of grape juice on top. :~)
