On the positive side, I did a pretty decent day of work, and it's a long weekend, so I guess I can feel good about life.

And I've got the other half of Lost to watch in a bit. Wish I had popcorn.
Speaking of shows cut in half...could they have ended House more abruptly?

We just watched a sweet British family film, "Millions". We had to put on the subtitles.
It was abrupt, wasn't it? It took me a minute to realize that it had all been in his mind from the time he was shot til they got him to the ER, which must not have been THAT long. Talk about your life flashing before your eyes! I love that show, though. We love the writing; so wicked and so funny!
*snort* Yeah, when you got those heavy accents, especially the Yorkshire and Welsh ones, it makes it tough to follow. We LOVE many British films and tv shows, though. If you ever get the chance, rent the film Rat. It stars Pete Poselthwaite, and you WILL need subtitles for that one.
Good Morning - beautiful morning, flags flying in our neighborhood. Coffeed up for the time being so we're off to the dogpark. Gypsygirl watched me type 'dogpark' so she trotted off to sit by the door.

Gotta get some stuff packed today to finish off a most productive week.
I just don't know where to start....
Start with what's nearest to hand.
It's gonna get hot here... 80s today and tomorrow, 90s on Monday. I know you'll laugh. But it's muggy too. I am planning to spend a lot of time outdoors. Last night it was raining so I went out barefoot with most of my siblings and we played Calvinball in the rain.

Loaded five boxes so far. LOTR stuff is packed and so are The One Shoes. :-)
Got some "winter" clothes packed up as well.
Well, I've put this off far too long.
We're going to Lowes to buy a screen for thenewbackdoor (it didn't come with one when we had it installed), and order a swingset for Luke.
May pick up some new corn plants, some coreopsis...and some hot pepper spray...
Then it's off to the funeral, the wedding and dinner with friends. See y'all vey late tonite or sometime tomorrow.
BTW, I watched the first four episodes of Lost, Season I last night...sigh...

Well, we're going to the beach house today, not sure what we'll do this weekend, but I don't think riding will be part of it... it's pourin still.
Mornin' (for a few more minutes yet). Spent the morning doing garden and yard work. Turnips are in! Now I'm turning my sights toward getting the house ready for company tomorrow. We're having a cookout and the fam is coming. My name's not Martha, but I know how to host a good cookout.
I took my brother to get his allergy shot... now we're confabulatin' a plan. Might go to the movies, possibly.

Not like there's much that can be done this weekend. Too wet. Maybe go to Value Village...though they're probably holding everything back for their big sale on Monday, which I don't think I wanna go to. Crowds...*shudder*
