It's late summer/early fall in the southern hemisphere. Same as hurricane prime time here in September. And hurricanes and water drains spiral in the opposite direction down under because of the Coriolas effect.
I packed two boxes this weekend... this is gonna take forever...
I saw the alert earlier, but hadn't seen the graphics.
*shudder* is right.
four four four
Okay. Then I'll just save my money and be a cheapskate. :)
I'm watching ROTK. Now ever time someone says "Pippin", I think of a black and white furry little monster.
We're watching the King Kong extra features. PJ puts on a good show. Though, I must say, the appearance of some people is not improved by weight loss. PJ looks sickly! Big'ol thinks a haircut would do him good.
AAAaaaackk! the Catrog!
The Mouth of Sauron needs his teeth cleaned.
...oh well....nevermind.
Demon kitty - don't turn your back on him!
"cheapskate?1?" we prefer the term 'frugal', but in this instance, dumping the water will irrigate your plants or flowers etc. thus a double savings. :-)
WOW. that's quite a storm.
Well the borage is up and the mixed greens I planted last week. Got varmints running roughshod over muh property.
I'm still a bit choked up. We just finished watching Phantom.
Yeah, I thought it was pretty bad too. But it didn't make me cry.
;-)
Hmmm... can't say that was the emotion primarily inspired in me by that show. The music was nice, though.
Lots a stuff in bloom, the columbines are great this year. We planted up most of the new stuff and moved some more. The bushy tailed varmints are digging in the mulch, for the time being. :-)
I hadn't seen it before, although I pretty much knew the story.
Now, I'd ~love~ to see it on stage.
Well, like I said, I liked some of the music a lot. I sort of snickered my way through most of the rest of it.
I'd never seen it before either but I've seen/read three or four parodies so there weren't any surprises... what a weird culture we have where you can learn a story by other stories making fun of it. It's sort of like thinking "Romeo and Juliet" is derivative of "West Side Story". Which, appropo of nothing, made me giggle rather than cry, also.
I'm a real sappy kinda person, I'll admit. :-)
