I just love her eyes...she really is pretty. Hope she's able to gain some weight...scary how her hipbones are jutting out right now.
< /sneak>
She's so bony when she cuddles it's like cuddling with Ann Coulter ;~D
I'm gonna tidy that room up, fold up the beds and put a birthing box in there today.
*snicker*
Maybe we should name her Ann...or Audrey...
Ewwww!
I went to the DOL on my lunch break and picked up the new trailer license tab, by the way.
Thanks Honey!
Oh - good. Did you have to sign in blood that we weren't tryin' to rip 'em off?
I've managed to make a 'whelping box' of sorts in a corner of the spare bedroom by kindof walling off a corner with the two rollaway beds, and lining the inside with old blankets and towels. I then tried to make the closet uncomfortable by removing anything soft from it so the 'whelping box' is about the only comfortable place.
Any chance there are large boxes available there at work? I'd like one about 2 feet square, a foot high. The 'file box' size boxes we have are too small.
~whacks with fish~
***Ponders the name "Whacks with Fish" as a potential Nanowrimo character***
I'll check.
Thanks for the loan! It was a good book.
It also took... forever to get there. Huh.
A new kitty! Goodness!
Give that cat a cheeseburger!
Goodness indeed.
I swear there's some kind of sign out front that says "dump your lost, your homeless, your unwanted animals" :~D
A cheeseburger wouldn't fit in her :~D
But she's eating as much cat food as she wants :~D
That was the case with my family growing up. Once a momma cat got picked off by coyotes and left seven 2-week old kittens. Mom and I wiggled under a crawlspace to get them out. They slept in a box in my bedroom and we fed them a homemade formula by syringe (no needle, of course). Marvelous experience! Neighbors were always bringing foundlings by - including one we named Rambo. He had an amazing talent of scaling curtains like spiderman climbs a building. He'd also drape himself around your neck and just be along for the ride. Lots and lots of critters over the years.
*Sniff*
I miss my cat.
The closest one I found is 2 x 1.5, 8 inches high.
Does it look big enough to hold a little momma cat and some nursin' kittens?
Are you traveling somewhere?
