That picture of the two of you together should go on Steve's desk at his new job someday. ;-)
I hope you plan on framing that pic, chica!
Yay 2J! Has it sunk in yet?
Oh dear...it really *is* gonna be a shock moving here, isn't it?
Woohoo!
I'll be a Ruthsicle for the better part of the year, I'm sure.
But I'll get adjusted sooner or later. The girls should get used to it easier than I will.
Layering is key. :-)
That, and the occasional fire in the fireplace.
Mmmm... fireplace.... our next house needs a fireplace Talon.
Only occasionally? ;-)
Saw a bumpersticker this morning that said "I work to support my horse's lifestyle". Heh...
As you wish... :-)
Heh... indeed :~D
You can never light a fire too often. ;-)
You really like it? I think it's pretty nice too...
He got that shirt at Foleys...it's not a light cotton dress shirt, it's heavier...sturdier. I think he looks great in it (and I can tell he thinks so too.)
I've folded the gown and put it with the cap in my cedar chest for maybe one of the jedis to wear in the future. I intend to *someday* have the medallion, his diploma and a litho they gave him framed.
ASGANJ
heh heh
I'm so proud.
Heh heh...not yet, I don't think...I thought things were unnerving while he was trying to finish that thesis...but now the future really is uncertain! :-)
It's gotta be good though...I have a hunch and my hunches are good.
Give him a week to relax, then brush up that resume!
Just kidding... I'm sure you and he have things planned out already...
No, you're exactly correct. His mom is here all this week, so we don't plan on him pounding the pavement this week too much.
But come this weekend...we'll likely both get together and spiff things up...including a new bit of wardrobe...some slacks, a suit maybe...
His speaker at his commencement was excellent. I mean really really great. I'm talking about the commencement last night. He was so very encouraging and inspiring and both Steve and I enjoyed it. He was the owner of a company that actually Steve wouldn't mind working for.
It's a terrific picture! You both look so happy. :-D
