New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, |
|
|
Still round the corner there may wait |
|
Home is behind, the world ahead, |
suppose they gave a meeting and no one came...
(not a good move for the person not here, that's all I'm sayin')
Hopefully they'll come back.. So much drama.
If they were rabbits of squirrrels you can count on them coming back.
Compared to 200 boxes? Not at all!!! OB and I used to buy books, but we don't so much anymore. Good selection at the library and we've already paid for those with our taxes!!
The nest should be fine. I found a house wren nest in my clothespin bag once when we were living in Tallahassee. It had been hanging in the carport next to the back door, and we'd been gone out of town for a week. I needed the clothespins, so I carefully removed the nest, dumped the pins, put bunched up paper to the orig. level of the pins, then put the nest back. Mama came back later, and didn't even seem to notice anything different. It was a hoot when the eggs hatched, cause we could hear them chirping when Mama would bring food.
Mornin' folkses...

Is it Friday yet?

I still have a ways to go with my own library...don't need to go to the public one!
So...the plumber's supposed to show up today, right?
Now that would be fun, to have a squirrel nest on the porch :~D
I got a few drays in the trees out back. Dang varmints dug up my impatiens yesterday....
...and the rabbits are watching...
The plumber is going to call today, don't know whether or not he'll show up. I'd go put the second sealing coat on but I don't want him to show up and have to avoid the wet paint and breathe the VOC's (though, being a plumber, he's probably breathed a lot worse). So I guess I'll go iron, since it's too wet to play outside.
Mmmmmmmmmm....VOC's
They leave mine alone :~D I just fed them :~D
I just got finished burying the back half of a little rabbit that wasn't watching. Must have been that durn black and white cat that's gone feral. Never found the front half, but I must admit I didn't look that hard.
Gypsy keeps trapping the baby bunnies under the wood pile, and she can't get to them, so it's entertaining. She did trap one between the two fences, and it was so scared it couldn't get out, so I had to take a board off the fence to free it. I thought they were pretty cute 'til I saw one sampling my tomato leaves...
I need to throw some more empty peanut shells on the compost pile...
Had to put a higher fence around the coneflowers. And they keep nibbling the parsley. Shoot! I've got a whole back yard full of broadleaf weeds...why don't they go after that?!
Mornin'. Just got to the office. It has been the...
Morning.
From.
Hell.
I did manage to make it to the post office and get those boxes out to you though. So there's that. :-)
Mine just leave it on the plate :~D
I got low-class bunnies.
Yikes...? Sorry to hear that... whahappun?
