Tis true. I'm fixin to head to the grocery store. Clare and I are going on a Girl Scout Encampment this weekend, and we have to get the food for the few in our troop who are going. We'll eat well, though! ;o)
After the store I have to pick Joseph up from school, drop him home, then head over to pick up the other leader from our troop and her daughter. She needs to be there early cause she's running the thing, but I'm one of only a few adults bringing a car. All the girls and a few leaders are going on a bus. It's going to be held at Girl Scout camp up in NH, and it's looking like the weather is going to be terrific!!!

I am glad someone is going to have fun this weekend. We ~were~ going camping, but as soon as Bittygirl got her ear thing, I cancelled. It's a good thing too, because now, I have a 100.5 fever. I am 99% certain it's a sinus infection, but I also am achy all over and can't turn my head to the right without pain.
We had a spectacular light show last night with the thunderstorm. I hear there is going to be another one tonight! I love watcing them roll in. They are just awe inspiring.
I'm hoping to spend my weekend rototilling and planting and putting in pavers. Or at least rototilling.
I'm wondering how much that's gonna cost me...guess I'll know soon enough. At least I got out the door early enough this morning to get my check deposited...
We don't talk enough these days, that's for sure.
Well, my presentation this morning went okish but I'm going to kill my partner for not having the slides done until halfway through the first person's presentation. Argh.
I'm way too busy to be Freeping, but I'm a bit distracted. I was just forwarded an email (in confidence) from thepool treasurer. The guy that took my place as President basically trashed the entire Board and blamed them for all of the troubles. He said it was obvious that I did everything (a lie, I handled the business end, but I did little or no maintenance).
He sent this in an email to all the Board. 'Course this is the guy who called us immature for communicating problems via email last year.
What a waste of skin.
Heh....shovels aren't that expensive...

On the theory that "real friends help you move bodies"... anyone up for helping me this weekend? I can't take the stress of this project I'm doing, my partner is a worthless procrastinating human being and I'm going to kill him.
How far do we have to haul him?
I don't care... just so's I don't get arrested.
I just told thetreasurer it was too bad thepool was already cleaned, 'cause it makes it more difficult to hide bodies.
'Course I know how to get the lid off the septic tank...
Might not be worth the cost of the gas to get him to thepool.
Maybe we just meet at g'nad's and dispose of both a Dogwood Ridge...
