New verse:

And, it has begun again. This week ~Luke~ has a production and rehearsals Tuesday, Thursday and Friday and performances on Saturday and Sunday...
Never ending cycle...
I have two boxes worth of frap to clear out but it's raining. And a bag of Goodwill... on top of the bag of Rosie's I haven't gotten around to doing yet... I should really go dump those...
And I'm thinking of buying myself a birthday present, precious.
I know. If they'd add an old people's choir, we'd never get a weekend off...
When's our birthday precious?
Tomorrow. I think I might get a fm broadcaster so I can listen to the iPod in the car. It might make my upcoming two-day drive more endurable.
Dang...your birthday is tomorrow, isn't it?
I fergot.
Old folks' choir...what a great idea!
FWIW, I spent 9 loooong months of my life in a Fundamentalist Baptist childrens' home. Long story...I'll have to share it during a Moot.
Suffice to say, that stint did more damage to my spiritual walk and relationship with Christ than any other "wordly" influence could have ever done.
Well, darn, I should have shipped you all of my Goodwill frap for a birthday present...
Heh...you shared some of that with us at Entmoot as I recall. Bizarre.
They really wouldn't qualify as standard Baptists. Glad you came through that OK...
I understand. I love the Wesleyan-Holiness doctrine and tradition. But along with that has come a lot of legalism that's done irreparable harm to lots of people.
Some of my knee-jerk reactions are the result of that.
Yeah, I B old tomorrow.
I would just mark it "return to sender" and add my frap.
I am looking forward to someday a new Hobbit Holer joining who's younger than I am.
hehehe....that's right. I just worry for those kids whose ONLY brush with Jesus was in that place. It would be enough to turn someone off from church forever.
I was fortunate to have a knowledge and healthy foundation re: salvation before setting foot in that place, so I realized which parts they were selling that didn't need buying.
Mine?
Mine?
Mine?
