This episode is one of my faves. I can't figure out why some here didn't like it. What really did it for me was the Cockney accents of Minge and Gary. It was PERFECT.

Maybe some folks here aren't aware of the controvery of the book author who appeared on Oprah and turned out to be a fraud. If one doesn't know this background then a lot of the episode wouldn't make much sense. However, this one is ABSOLUTELY HILARIOUS!!!

I loved how it shows that even when Oprah is wrong, she tricks her audience, makes it look like the other person's fault, and her sheeple will still follow her and lynch those who wronged Oprah. It shows how sheep like her audience is.

The fake author story was not really the issue. They could have lampooned the entire situation without getting into the surreality of the talking minge. It was just so much of a bad idea. The accents added to the weirdness and were not so much an inspired touch as a necessity (to avoid American slang, which would have been too crude for the network.)

You can't win 'em all. "Scott Tenorman Must Die" was shocking and funny. This was just vulgar. Unless Oprah has some type of notoriety for neglecting her nether regions, it doesn't make a lot of sense as a satire.

The dialogue and voices of Minge and Gary reminded me of Sean Connery and Michael Caine in John Huston's 1975 classic, "The Man Who Would be King". Caine played a character named Peachy Carnahan.

I wonder if Matt and Trey saw the movie.
