Abortion is outlawed in every Latin American country except Cuba.

Doesn't mean that every Mexican is a practicing Catholic and opposes abortion, but basically Latinos are Catholic, and conservative on family values issues.

Most Latinos oppose abortion.

So, yes, more Latinos = more conservative Catholics, more Catholics = more opposition to abortion.

In time, you could end up having an anti-abortion pole start to rise within the Democratic Party too, if illegal immigration/amnesty continues apace. In time.

Tony Snow and the like have this fantasy of another legion of faithful Cubans. The cubans that left were the upper class. The people leaving the farms and slums on Mexico and Central America are the followers of Commander Zero and the Mestizo revolution. Avowed marxists, many of them. The dems know this.

My guess is that all that would be put aside in the face of hefty entitlements. The only strategy would be to hope they could reach middle class status and start pulling the cart instead of riding in the cart. Then they themselves would work on building a wall to keep out illegals. Weird, huh?

If you want to stop the flow of illegals change the tax code to treat the hiring of illegals akin to dealing in the illegal drug trade. Pay your taxes on your illegal gain or face jail time and loss of property if you get caught. If you get caught and you're paid up, nothing more than a fine.

Have every one pay their "luxury" tax on the honor system. Just like in the illegal drug trade. Add up how much you paid to illegals and figure a tax on that. If you pay Flores 20 bucks every other week to mow your lawn, you are going to pay the luxury tax on that payment along with the big contractor who has 1,000's of illegals on their payroll. Pay your tax.

The value of these colonizers to the liberal establishment is their race, not their religion. It is the destructive effect, the terminal effect, that this mass migration has on the established culture. It is quite literally cultural and physical genocide in order to eliminate obstacles to various social and political goals. Actually, it is worse than that: it has become pure racial hatred of white people. That is why militant leftists throughout the West encourage mass migration of Muslims into the West even though these Muslims are against everything the left allegedly stands for. The left isn't even bothered by the idea of Muslims becoming the majority in Europe, they simply don't care what the end results will be as long as white people, nations, and cultures are eliminated.

The only religious value that might cause the left to turn away from colonizing America is if they thought that there would be a real and not to distant chance that this migration would lead to the outlawing of abortion, but they understand that this is not likely to happen. Too bad, because it would be amusing to watch them agonize - exterminating white people . . . abortion?

I heard on the news this morning that Chris Simcox (of the Minutemen) is going to build a 700 mile wall on the border if President Bush doesn't by May 5th.

He says if everyone who wants the wall built, donates $10, it will more than pay for the cost to put up a wall AND cheaper than a government wall would cost, because it would cut out all the bureaucratic cr@p.

I'm all for it and my $10 is on it's way. It's a start and Thank God, SOMEONE is doing something FINALLY. Damn the government and politicians, damn them all.....
